Things have been busy these past weeks/months--teaching three classes, editing theses and research in the form of book reviews, one paper which was presented a couple of weeks ago and the beginning of a new project.
This means I have not been able to keep up with the blog as much as I would like -- even my incessant picture-snapping (flickr-itis) has come to a halt more or less.
Now I'm in Cambridge, MA for Spring break, to get some work done but also relax, shop a little and have some nice meals with Bill. I have a lot of reading to do--another book review (for the Keats-Shelley journal of all places!) some preliminary work on an abstract of the new project (Maria Sibylla Merian) and lots and lots of class prep. Oh and I'm also previewing books for the first year book selection committee.
I will also try and catch up with reading AND responding to "other people's blogs" (hi Ian!)
Right now I feel a trip downstairs to Starbucks for some hot tea or a latte is in order, then I might just tackle the stack of German exams I packed in my suitcase....!
Hey, what did you present on two weeks ago? You never posted about it :(
I'm really geeked that you're going to write about Maria Sibylla. Do you know that I have a paper on caterpillars?
